Our Saturday Art Fun classes are immersive, process-based studio experiences designed for children who love to create, explore, and work deeply with materials. Each session focuses on open-ended artmaking rather than step-by-step crafts, giving young artists the time and freedom to experiment, problem-solve, and express their ideas. With a rotating lineup of painting, sculpture, and mixed-media projects, Saturdays at Tiny Artisan feel like a true art studio—where creativity, curiosity, and confidence take center stage.. They will create art that will make them feel proud of and excited to take home!
Our January Line Up
Saturday 2/14/26 – Stained Glass Heart Sun Catcher: Children design a stained glass–inspired heart using translucent collage materials and clear contact paper. Artists explore color layering, light, and pattern as they create a glowing window artwork that beautifully changes when sunlight shines through.
Focus: Color theory + light exploration + mixed media collage
Process:
• Layer translucent tissue and collage materials
• Explore overlapping colors and patterns
• Seal artwork into a window sun catcher
Saturday 2/21/26 – No Class
Saturday 2/28/26 – Snowy Owl Texture Painting: Children create textured owl artwork using layered paint and sensory materials. Artists explore animal features, feather textures, and winter color palettes.
Focus: Animal art + texture building + observational creativity
Process:
• Build feather textures using layered paint and materials
• Design owl faces and body shapes
• Add winter themed background elements
