Directed Drawing for Your Young Artist Ages 4 -8

Thursday 3:00 - 4:30pm
Your young artist will learn to draw a variety of animals and other objects by using simple shapes and following directions. Each session will focus on one drawing which will be taught through clear and demonstrated instructions. When the picture is complete, the class will spend the time coloring our pictures with either crayons, colored pencils or markers. We will also learn how to include adding certain backgrounds or adding other items/themes to their character for students who may want to take their drawings a step further. They will will create art that will make them feel proud of and excited to take home!
Learning Goals
Student will learn how to draw different animals, foods, and objects. Students will learn shapes, lines, and colors. Increase their fine motor skills, their observational skills, listening skills and their social skills.This is a drop-off class. Parents may arrive 5 minutes early to pick up for art show.
